Yacht club and waterside development masterplan on the Grebnoy Canal in St Petersburg, North Russia.

Located on a peninsula within one of the city’s key recreational areas, the complex includes a yacht club, a 4–5* hotel, 20,000 sq.m of apartments, a sports club, a sailing school, car parks, multi-level stack storage for yachts and boats, and a coastal promenade.

Our concept proposed a continuous landscaped roof stretching across the entire site. Parks, lawns, squares and residential courtyards sit above, while all infrastructure — roads, loading areas, indoor sports facilities, boat storage and plant — is concealed below. Functional groups share facilities, complementing each other commercially and avoiding duplication.
