Netherhall Gardens Apartments

Renovation and extension of a Victorian semi-detached building, previously converted into three large apartments, to create seven new units.

The proposals include excavating the basement and rebuilding the side/rear annex to form a one-bedroom duplex maisonette across the ground and lower-ground floors. Clad in Corten steel, the new side unit is accessed via the undercroft passage and features a ground-floor living space with a private rear terrace. A glazed wall and ceiling along the boundary help maintain the visual massing of the former annex.

Two additional basement flats are designed with their own stepped sunken gardens formed within extended lightwells.
