Fitzjames Avenue Apartment

Renovation and refurbishment of a period flat in West London.

Our client appointed us to transform this early-1900s apartment into a contemporary family home, improving the zoning and flow of space and adding a dining room, guest WC and ensuite bathroom.

A striking feature of the project is a large look-through fish tank that brings daylight into the windowless dining room. The refurbishment required substantial structural alterations, including the installation of multiple steel beams up to 6 m long, the largest delivered through temporary openings in the external wall.
