International competition entry for the Automobile and Rally Museum of Portugal (MARP).

The site is the former Municipal Market in Fafe – a city often referred to as the “Cathedral of Rally”. Our proposal introduces a large orthogonal volume visually lifted from the ground, with a transparent lower level that integrates the surrounding public spaces.

Visitors circulate around a central atrium that remains visually open to the exterior. The ground-floor multipurpose hall can host public events and exhibitions, while the basement car workshops are visible from above, creating an engaging connection between visitors and the museum’s technical heart.
