A concept for a restaurant set in the middle of a man-made lake, serving as a hospitality venue for bereavement gatherings from the nearby award-winning Aylesbury Vale Crematorium. 

Raised on piles to protect wildlife and allow water-level changes, the design features a transparent pavilion with a hovering timber roof and a concrete back-of-house core. A gently curving lightweight bridge connects the building to the shore.
