New development involving the refurbishment and extension of a 19th-century high-street building to create 12 low-budget flats.

The client purchased the site with an existing planning permission. AR Architecture was commissioned to improve the scheme, produce construction drawings and discharge the planning conditions. During the process, we reworked the layouts, value-engineered the materials, refined the façade details to accommodate increased build-ups within the approved dimensions, and submitted several applications for the required amendments.
