International Congress Centre is a mixed-use complex comprising a 23-storyed congress-hotel, boutique
retail and offices. It occupies a prime site between two parks in the historical centre of Rostov-on-Don on the city's high street. The project features a 13 m high indoor boulevard, two levels of roof carpark, a garden with mature trees on the 7th floor and serviced apartments arranged around an open patio on the 19th-23rd floors.
It was highly acclaimed in Rostov and received a Silver Diploma of the Union of the Architects of Russia in 2005.
Phase I of the complex started on site in 2007, then in 2008 decision was made to re-design it into a Hyatt Regency hotel. Alexander Rakita was the Project Leader.
